Oh, thank God! A guy with teeth once again. I really don’t mind this interior. The diagonally laid paneling lends a certain novelty value. If it’s faux, that took some time and effort. Not overdecorated, ‘though the frilly lamp in background right annoys me;I hate those crenalated, erstVictorian things. If I were 18 again, I’d definitely be rolling around in the stuffed bears with Daddy Bear.
That table looks like it has seen better days and so does “daddy”.

Can anyone figure out what it says at the bottom of the photo of leatherdaddy and the tree? Please tell me it says Season’s Greetings? Or better yet, please tell me it is an Olan Mill’s photograph. The 1940s one-foot-on-the-floor-cum-take-me-now stance, the patch of white in the middle of the chest (deities please don’t let that be a missed ribble), and all the beige/white/brown makes me think “Who lives in Sepialand?” Then the occasional splashes of red (at least it isn’t blood) makes this photo worthy. Turn the bears around so they can’t watch and turn the lights down low and i’d do him. But after he climaxed, i’d be out of there before his heart-rate returned to normal and he introduced me to all of his teddies.

When you found that table in the alley, did you happen to find this photo with it? It has a distinct archival quality to it, I’d say mid-to-late-Seventies. That would be when everything in this picture was at the height of fashion: the fern-like greenery dripping from the upper right hand corner, the wooded den, the maximal sectional in white, fans, and I see there is even a glass coffee table which no doubt saw it’s share of “snow.” How else to explain the obsessive Cringle-Bear collection that predates the popularity of the “gay bear” by some twenty years? This man (now in his mid to late 80s) was clearly a trendsetter.
Stuffed toys - always a decorating mistake unless you’re under 10.
The side table, now I like that, it has something of a 1940s look to it, in the right setting, yes.

Christmas came early…and a lot. and all over.
I’m not paranoid or anything, but I would be afraid that the bears would be talking about me behind my back. Some of those bear faces are really scary!
So many of the photos posted on Lurid Digs feature objects, textures and shapes repeating throughout the image. In this case it is the way the man’s floppy, furry genitals mimic the plush bears behind him. It’s alot like the guy who collects Wyle E Coyote, and the way his penis was just like the cartoon’s snout. I think I may be on to something here.
